Hi Colwell Family! I just wanted to know the impact Michael and you have made around here in Columbia, SC. We are friends with Brian and Trisha K. They have kept us updated on your journey. We are in continued prayer for you and your boys.

Hey Jenn and boys,
We have been praying for you all. Your words on this blog are amazing. Our God is awesome and I am so glad that He is holding you so close during this time. It's been a while since the FCA days at Clemson but I still remember Michael's voice saying "Hello Hello, I'm Michael Colwell." We will continue to think of you and pray for your family.
Love,
Michael, Catherine, Caroline & Abby Goforth

SO GLAD we made the trip to Atlanta to celebrate Michael's life with you. It was one of the most meaningful and beautiful worship services I have ever participated in. Our God is SO worthy. What a blessing! You are NEVER far from our thoughts and are DAILY in our prayers. Love, Jennifer Scruggs

Jen, my parents said they found the memorial service amazingly uplifting as well. I only wish I could have been there to see it myself. (Pesky med school...) I am blessed to have known Michael for his short life here - and am blessed to know you still! You all are in our prayers.

I really wish i could have made it down for the funeral last week, but I just wanted to say that Michael will be missed. I had the pleasure of knowing him in FCA back at Clemson and He was one of many friendly faces I remember from then. I was very thankful to have found him on Facebook and at least see how he had been doing. I will keep you in prayer along with your family. Take care and God Bless

Jen - I so desperately wanted to be there Thursday or Friday, but motherly duty was too pressing. I would love to get our boys together for some good old fashioned baseball in the back yard or afternoon at the park when you come to visit your parents. We still talk about Michael in our premarital counseling sessions. His "Rocky" quote about how you filled each other's gaps is one of our favorites. We are praying for you and Kaleb and Noah as you said each day will bring new changes with it. We love you. Shannon & Stuart Hayes, Silas, Luke and Zechariah

Jen, I know that I'm one of many that have come out of the woodwork, but I wanted you to know that I've been keeping up with Michael's story. The last time I saw you was in Dallas before any of us had kids. I'm sadden by your loss and your sons' loss, but I'm encouraged by how God has taken your heart and mind in His hands. Your story has challenged me to give my husband over to the Lord, eventhough he is currently strong and healthy. Your total surrender has ministered to me. God's strength!
